DO you think it would have mattered even if he had spoken out before the world cup. Indian team would have been still the same. The most careless of teams! They couldn't even manage Super 8! It's a shame for a team which has got so many reputed players.

Well the world cup was collective failure of all concerned be it coach, captain or the players. I feel no one will deny that. But the way coach and his brother Ian chappel targeted sachin was uncalled for and very unfortunate. I mean to question the commitment of the man who served Indian cricket for 17 years was totally unjustified. Yes sachin played badly like the whole team but to question his attitude is what made sachin speak out. And i agree with sachin that till date no coach or player in his career ever questioned his commitment to game or Indian cricket.
