Haha, yeah...
I'm wondering how many of you shave your armpits, men and women alike, i know most women shave their pits, but most men don't.
I know someone who does shave his pits, he says that it just smells better, and hey, i get that, totally, i just think it's odd and funny, so every time i see him, i kinda giggle...
If your a man and you shave your pits, please give your reasons.
If your a woman, and don't, I'd like to hear your reasons as well...
Anything about armpits would be nice hahaha.
Have fun my fellow friends.

Well, I DO shave my under arms...and I can not stand even stubble there.
One of my pet peeves. If you are not going to shave...females that is...do not wear anything that he going to show off that you could braid that hair!
And even though it really does not pertain to men having to shave there...it is socially acceptable that they do not have to shave their underarms...I think that they should at least trim it!
It is just gross to see arm pit hair coming out from their underarms when they arms are DOWN! Yuck! I have been trying to talk my partner into cutting his...but he just looks at me funny and refuses.
As for the guy that DOES shave his under arms....Good for him! :)
At least he will not look like a hairy beast and will not have a hedge hog growing from his pits. ha ha

i don't like it on most men, but my hubby has the tiniest cutest little hair there, haha, my god i sound like a friggen idiot, oh well...
He's really good with keeping it clean and all that anyway, and it just adds to how adorable he is.
But i've seen men, that oh my god i wouldn't get within a hundred feet of them just because of how much hair they have under there, I'm sorry, but disgusting, no way in heck would i go near that....
Wow that's mean, but yeah you know what i mean!
|Thanks hun.

I do, but was shocked when I went on holiday to Yugoslavia 15yrs ago and so beautiful woman with stunning figures in bikinis on the beach with bunches of hair under their arms.It was sooo gross. also bunches of hair sticking out of their bikini bottoms too. One girl came up and asked me in broken English where mine was, i tried to explain to her that we shave. She said "But why?"

I have never had head lice, thank god for that! My daughter used to always get head lice when she went to daycare years ago. We would always have to get her hair cut and treat her head with a lice killer product. It is very nasty and disgusting and I am not quite sure where they come from. One dose never did kill all of them and we had to end up combing through her hair daily and pick some of them out with our fingers. We haven't had any problems since then, thank God. My daughter is now 15 years old and I told her to not use others brushes or combs and do not wear others clothes and such. You have to take down all of the curtains, bed covers and all and wash them in hot water.

Yes, I shave my armpits. I'm a woman and I don't like hairy armpits! Besides if I don't and if they get hairy, it would be harder to put deodorant on. I use the stick deodorant. I end up shaving my armpits every 2 to 3 days.

I'm fair haired and don't have a big growth to contend with so don't shave normally. But as another person said, sometimes the hairs get knotty and then I cut them out.
Mention of ear and nose hair reminded me of the time I went for a hair cut in Turkey and the finale was to set fire to my ears and nose! Quite dramatic and certainly got rid of the hairs for a while! He used cotton wool soaked in meths and when lit went off with a pop!

I've really grown to hate any kind of body hair and unfortunately I have a very hairy chest. I usually do a full body shave every month or so. I don't shave it all of, just a buzz cut type deal so that it doesn't itch so much...it really helps cut down on sweating and body odor.

Yes I shave under my arms although I do tend to get a bit lazy about it in the winter when there is much less chance of them being seen but I aways makes sure that if they will be seen like when going swimming they get a good going over with the razor.
I find that when left unshaved there is more chance of sweat stains on your clothes than there is when you have shaved.

I do indeed shave my armpits but it always makes me a bit nervous and I make sure I'm sitting down. Something about turning my head and craning my neck to see what I am dong makes me see little silver stars. I must be cutting off the blood flow or something. I wonder if that happens to anybody else?
I would LMAO if my husband shaved his pits. He let me wax his back once and he howled like a litle girl. Funny stuff. I think swimmers shave even if they are guys. Also, don't serious cyclists shave to reduce the wind resistance? I know that is why swimmers do it, although it is water resistance in that case.
