Just out of interest...

Who is less likely to respond to a discussion someone started if they havent chosed an aviator? I didnt realise until recently but I think Im one of these. Its not intentinal but I noticed that Im less likely to replit if they havent chosed one, not sure why. Anyway since realising Ive been trying to make a concious effort not to discriminate against them. How about u? Maybe your youyre one of the people who hasnt made one, is there a particular reason why?

I haven't decided on an avatar yet. I'm still waiting for my sister to get in here to help me out. Anyway, in my case, it doesn't bother me that I don't have an avatar yet, and it also doesn't affect my choosing for a discussion to reply to. Like you see, I have a lot of "best responses", had given more than 1000 quality responses and a lot of discussions responded to, and has earned my 10-star rating, all without an avatar I could call my own attached to my name. My friends here actually just recognize me as "ag". If it doesn't affect me and it doesn't affect them, then everything is fine in my own myLot world. Hehe. Happy myLotting!

Thanks for your response. You may find once you decide on one you will get more answers, then again, perhaps not. Happy Mylotting to you too and all the best ag.

A good avatar definitely attracts the attention, but I would not respond to a discussion that did not interest me on those grounds alone. I usually look for a topic of interest and am more concerned with the subject than with the posting member's avatar. I acnnot say for certain that I have not been subconciously swayed due to the avatar or lack of it, but I have certainly never done so intentionally.
