Reduce population and you reduce poverty. The best step to undertake therefore, in order to solve this problem will be to address the problem involving population. If we can show everyone that if they have the least number of children in the family, then they have the least chance of succumbing to poverty, they will awaken to the fact that this is all so true. Therefore, let us undertake steps now to resolve this issue of population explosion. People must be made to understand that the world does not have the capability to produce more food, more trees and other resources just because there are more people around. The world shall keep on producing what it can, basing on the area that is dedicated for the purpose of producing everything that man needs.

Well population reduction is a definite solution to reduce poverty but can someone please understand the need if education in orer that the people understand the problem of poverty and population and measures will have to be taken to reduce these problems.Once the public is educated everything can be purposefully solved.Without education a rural would not be able to understand the problem which we are facing and how can we reduce it to a final stop.

Everyone has said something about not having as many kids but this cant work everywhere - in another of my posts i have mentioned something about this, Australia has the problem of there not being enough young people to carry on the population here so it cant be our fault for there being too many people - theoretically, our population is aging & the government are encouraging us to have more kids. Having said that, in the 3rd world countries there is lack of knowledge & lack of funding to go towards things like contraception. If people had access to simple things like that, then there would be less children in the world that are starving & malnourished. The implants could be an easy option for that. I think everyone has the right to a family but they need to be sure they can afford to have kids. If you live in poverty, it's no way to raise a child & as i'm sure most of you know, a lot of children in the 3rd world countries, die every day coz every family has quite a number of children & they cant afford to feed them all. I'm not sure how to fix it but having government supply contraceptives is a start, sending all excess food to those poorer countries is another, teaching them to farm is another good thought - then they can manage their own things & provide for their families. It is a hard one though coz as bad as i feel for those people in those awful situations, i cant afford to be sending them money coz i have to make sure my own family is provided for, first & foremost. Sorry so long winded :)
