Yes I had noticed that too, people seem to ask for tea but never coffee. I know us Brits are supposed to be a nation of tea drinkers but at work most people tend to drink coffee, so how comes no one on TV soaps ask for coffee? Weird one that! x

and most soaps stars don't smoke like eastenders only dot smokes that i know of oh and pat

Yes they make smoking out to be the most evil thing one can do and it only tends to be the older people who smoke. I know they say "smoking kills" but Pauline Fowler used to smoke and it didn't kill her - someone else did LOL!

This is the same is coronation street, no one ever asks for coffee from Roy, yet all i drink is coffee. It is all very strange

ur question made me think and i think ur right that no one does ask for a cofee in the cafe il pay more attention the next time i watch eastenders we might be proven wrong
