No Indian Coach

Hi, I am completely against an indian coach for our team due to the following reasons
1. Only a handful of past cricketes played for the team rather than for themselves
2. Those cricketers were also not maintaining fitness levels as present day players
3. Almost all of them were against taking ones and rotating the strike, in their playing days
4. The present bunch of seniors in indian team have far better technique, temperament and averages than the prospective coaches
5. Regional aspirations will dominate the proceedings
6. They won't be outspoken and will definitely fear to take a stand on issues
I feel a coach is one who should inspire confidence and reverence in the players. In my opinion, steve waugh fits the bill. What do you think? Kindly share your views on this. Thanks.

I think we should not be too much concerned about the Nationality of the cricketer. As long as the person is competent, he should be fit enough to coach our team. But yes, you are true it is really very difficult to find an unbiased Coach for Indian team, as regionalism seem to be very much into Indian Cricket. But still, no general statements about any individual person based on his nationality!

I think that we should have a very very highly reputed Indian coach for our country because-
1. A player like Sunil Gavaskar or Kapil Dev can easily get the attention of the players and would demand respect and players to follow their instructions.
2. All these players have faced and survived Great batting and bowling through plans and changes to thinking and thus can help the team to do the same.
3. These men (highly reputed Indian ex-cricketers) have seen cricket and cricketers from all over the world closely and have changed mentalities and new plans and strategies.( they have not resisted change and their thoughts about crickety have also got changed)
You might wonder how can I prove all this? I can say all this because I have seen these players in News channels and sports channels talking about what went wrong with our team.
