What is Kerala? I've never heard of the place, is it a country?

There are many places to visit in Kerala. Munnar is one of such places. It is a hill station and is very beutiful and the climate is also very good there. The highest peek Anamudi is situated in Munnar. If you are interested in back waters you can directly go to Alappuzha or Kollam. Plenty of house boats are available there. You can stay in house boats (with the facility of star hotels) for days or you can just to travel around the waters for one or two hours in speed boats or in house boats itself. Vynad is the forest area. You can stay on tree houses in the jungle over night, if you dare to do so. Thekkady is another place worth to visit. There are a number of beaches through out Kerala stretching north to south at one border. Kovalam beach is the most famous beach. In addition to this there are many (hundreds of) resorts through out Kerala with very good ambience.
