UK Hostages Released...Your Thoughts Please

Thankfully they are now back safe and sound, but what do you think the "deal" was to get them released, and what do you think of their confessions on TV...What ever happened to giving name, rank and serial number?

I think it is a brilliant move by President Tom (can't spell his name). He will be seen as the nice guy who isn't as crazy as people make him out to be. Capturing these soldier was the crazy act, but of course level heads prevail and they get released without military action. On the other hand, it makes the British separate from the Americans in so much as Tony Blair resolved a conflict without fighting.

Maybe no deals, which is great...If there is any "smell in the air" I'm sure the press will be pulling up the rug to find in the coming weeks

I haven't seen any of this, but mostly I don't think any deals are made, I think the terrorrist simply give up most of the time.
