HELP!How hard is it to start life in America?

Well lets see so much has been going on since i last posted. my mother who is 36 has been ill for several years finally met a really nice guy they were together for 1 year and 3 monthes .he was 14 years younger but this really great guy.he was just about to move in when he totally freaked out about his familys objections and all the responsability of being with a older woman with kids. my mom is a wonderful person who really loves him and treated him well .she is very shy and has some health prolems hat she needs to have surgery for ,when she met her boyfriend she was so happy and it did wonder for her health but now that he has backed off and is hardly talking to her she has een getting really ill fast. she is very lonely and thinks we should move back to america where she is originally from bt she has no family to go to, no idea of where is best to live, she hasent lived in america since she was 14,is there any kind of help out there than she can get, i heard welfare is bad and living situations would be worse than we are now. i am 16 and with 2 younger children in the house ages 13 and 4. mama is so lonely and wants to go home but no idea how to do it,she asks me since i am the only one she has to talk to now that her boyfriend/bestfriend is out of the picture.......i feel so bad but yet dont know what is best for everyone either...
