Yes it is. I find it helps totally relax me. I turn the water on as hot as I can bear it and just stand there for about 10 minutes. I’ll then do a fairly quick bathe and from there go directly to bed. It usually helps to get your hair as dry as you can with a towel, but a little dampness will help you feel refreshed when you lie down.

Of course it's safe, and probably the best thing you can do to relax and unwind after a hard days work. I have some gorgous bath foam I use in the bath at the end of the day, it helps me to relax and feel clean and comfortable

Why would it be not safe??? It is great, relaxing and I think everyone should do that if they have time. I like evening baths with aroma therapy, candles and music.

Not only is it safe, it's usually quite therapeautic. Most people find a bath or shower after a hard day of work to be relaxing, and they use that time to decompress and wash away the troubles of the day.
It's a very useful thing to do as a transition between work and home, as well. Most people have to 'shift gears' from their work mindset to their home mindset, and the shower or bath is a great way to do that.
Health benefits include; getting clean, relaxing and stimulating circulation. The relaxation has additional positive effects on blood pressure, heart rate, and adrenalin levels. An all-around good thing!
