I am just curious, after this season being a laughing stock, how many of you will continue to watch American Idol? (if there is another season next Year)
It's so sad to see this series to become a competition involving JUST looks nstead of their talent. I personally won't be watching unless the way the voting is done is changed. I think it should be one vote per phone line (cell or landline) and if they ever allow voting from the internet one vote per computer.

I never ever watched it simply because I think everyone on that show don't know what real artists are. You have a condescending Brit, probably the only black guy on the planet who isn't cool and PAULA ABDUL! Are you telling me that the best person they could find who can identify talent is PAULA ABDUL?! Please! I'm surprised people are actually enjoying watching this show when it is destroying generations of music with its horrible performances and one-day stars. They should stop waiting for the talent to come to them and go out in the street and find the REAL talent. Not some boring karaoke singers who don't even know who Bob Dylan is. Bob Dylan stays in our minds forever. Why? Because he worked hard to be taken seriously. Name one American Idol contestant whose name will be remembered forever.. Clay Aiken? Oh, please!

I might not watch because I was so pissed off when Gina Glocksen went home last night. She has more talent than Sanjaya and Haley combined! Sanjaya needs to go home; I know that Howard Stern is trying to prove that hypocracy(sp?) rules, but this is ridiculous! I think the judges should decide who makes it to the top 10 and then let the audience decide after that. That way, only QUALITY singers(unlike Sanjaya, and Haley) would make it.

I was disappointed with last years final also. I still can't believe they chose Taylor hicks. LOL IMHO he sucked and he was/is a spaze. So now its coming to Sanjaya and I shutter everytime I hear him. I think it will be a wait and see situation when it comes to watching next year.
