Man Arrested for Feeding the Homeless

What in the world is life coming to these days. As I was watching the news this morning I heard of the guy getting arrested for feeding the homeless. Now why would anybody want to arrest and waste taxpayers money for some guy doing good. This is all because of some stupid (and I mean stupid) new ordinance that bars feeding large groups of people with out a permit in downtown parks. So what!!!! If they are not hurting anyone why bother. And why in the world would you need to have a permit if you chose to share food!! What's next? It's almost scary to think you could be arrested for that. They need to concentrate more on the bad and leave the good alone. There is defintely more bad going around these days then good it seems.

Your kidding right? Now Ive heard it all. Ive given food to people on the street before. I would rather give food then money. For one I dont have that kind of money to give to them and if I gave them money who knows what they would spend it on. Right?

I agree, definitely food or clothes. The half of them are out there because of a dependency problem. The last thing they need is the money to buy booze or whatever it is they need. That's probably what got them in trouble to begin with. These people need help healing and returning to a normal life. However there are some I hear that just cannot be saved. So sad.
