I just began reading The Fulfillment of all Desire by Ralph Martin. It is a guidebook for the Journey to GOD based on the Wisdom of the Saints. I espect i'll have many quotes i want to share with you. Here is the first:
Our Christian communities must become genuine "schools" of prayer, where the meeting with CHRIST is expressed not just in imploring help but also in thanksgiving, praise, adoration, contemplation, listening and ardent dlevotion, until the heart truly "fals in love"... It would be wrong to think that ordinary Christians can be content with a shallow prayer that is unable to fill their whole life"

I completely agree with you. This this statement come from the book. I have to get one soon. Yes we need to pray more earnestly, we need a true relationship with Jesus and teach our kids how to have a true relationship with Jesus.
Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or blemishes. That is why the Holy Spirit will clean house very soon. I believe His is already starting to clean the church houses up. Their is so many ungodly things going on in our churches. Then people wonder why no one is getting saved.

a wonderful quote, but you know now with the advent of the internet, there are also so many wonderful christian communities on line. I also love the fact that people that are shut ins, old or sick, can also participate on the internet now. It is a Godsend for so many people.
