who should be the next coach of indian cricket team?

as the name coming for the coach is Sunil Gavaskra but in my views the coach shud be Sir. Viv Richards wht u ppl say abt the ?

I would like to see Ravi Shastri as the next INDIAN coach. He's technically sound, has a very good attitude towards the game, nad ofcourse has a better knowledge abt the game.. With Shastri, also we need is a good bowling coach(Indian or Foreigner). No matter who the coach is, unless we play as team, we cannot win matches convincingly!!!!

Greg Chappell has resigned as the Indian coach. The best candidate for the job will be John Wright.It is because he has already worked with the team without any controversies, ego problems and any personal conflicts.The team also reached the finals during his tenure.SO he must be selected as the replacement for Greg Chappell.Greg did not understand the mindset as well as John did.

I think John Wright should be brought back to coach the Indian cricket team! I think he has been the man who shaped the Indian cricket team and transformed a really struggling team into a world champion team. I saw no reason as why his services were discontinued even after India's superb performance in World Cup 2003. I think we still have time.. We should appoint him back.. He seems to be the best choice at the time!

i think it must be 2 coaches an indian and a foreign so that the coordination works well

I feel we should have an Indian coach.India has some of the best legends in cricket.Besides they have a lot of experience playing for the indian team too, in the past.Some of the greats are Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, Sandeep Patil, Shrikanth, Dilip Vengsarkar, Ajit Wadekar and Sunil Gavaskar.Why look out for foreigners when we ourselves have some cricketing greats.Right now I feel Mohinder Amarnath should be given the charge.
