Well i was looking around at savings accounts and they are very low risk but typically you are lossing money due to inflation. On the other hand you can go for higher risk savings such as stocks, real estate, and so on. Where do you invest your money ? a friends said i should invest in water or water comapnies as the world will always need water . I was thinking about investing in corn companies as the price of gas is going up driving the price of ethanol which is made from mainly corn.
cheers

You can invest in Bluechip shares. Investing in Bluechip shares is most often risk free. That is because these shares have less chances of fluctuations, whatever be the ups and downs in the market. Try keeping such shares for a period of two years and then sell them.
