How do you train your farming skill

I am working on my farming skill, as I need level 40 farming for Rum Deal quest. So I am seeking ideas on how all of you train farming. Currently I am level 29 farming.

farming is an easy skill voer all to train, the reason this is is because you can go anywhere while yoru crops go. The easiest way to train though is by trees and fruit trees, and if you want to be really bored but get a lot of xp then plant at the allotments and plant herbs allotment and flowers, along with all the trees, the trees take long to grow but they are awesome xp. hope this helps.

Thanks for posting a suggestion. I agree with you that training using the tree seeds give tremendous experience. The only problem is the money to buy those seeds.

Well, I was reaaaaaaaaaaally lucky - in the aspect that Tears Of Guthix gave me most of my farming levels.
But, I farmed herbs, as well. Constantly. And trees. I planted trees and picked the fruit then I'd plant a new tree. I never really did plant crops, until I could farm watermelons.

I have a question, you bought your seeds or you hunted for them? Too bad I have not done the quest which will enable me to participate on Tears of Guthix. I have seen runehq and tip it, they are helpful, I make a discussion to see if anyone has a difference in training their farming skill.

I recommend checking under www.gamefaqs.com for help on this game. That site usually has great strategies for any game.
