How do you get a child to stop grinding his/her teeth?

Does anyone know how to get my son to stop grinding his teeth. He is only 8 months old and only has 5 teeth. He is always grinding his teeth. It is very annoying and I am afraid it could damage his teeth. The sound is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

This is normal. They will stop eventually. He's discovered something new to do, so he's just doing it over and over! I still remember that sound, my son did it too. His teeth are fine also.

Its normal for kids to grind their teeths even grown-ups do . He just has worms in his stomach. But sometimes its normal to have worms in their stomach. You shoudl try giving him yogurt or some Lactobacillus... product. I forgot its name but it kind of helped my nieces and my nephews.
