how many of you like discovery channel and why??

It is hard to argue with real life and the real world that we live in, and that is what discovery channel is. It is probably one of the best shows on T.V. and is a nice change from the sitcoms and lame drama shows that take up most of the tv air time.

Discovery - is the very first channel to give us all informations about worlds history, geography, civics economics, physics, chemistry & biology. its presentations of everything attracts us more towards it... i love it

The name says it all It's a channel of discovery. I am a curious person and always eager to learn new things and thats my major attraction to the channel. The amount of information you can pick up from such a channel is tremendous and the knowledge benefits immense. Very educational i must say.

One words, two people. Jaimie Hynemann and Adam Savage- Mythbusters. Its like the coolest show ever. I never get to watch them as often as i want nowadays, since we discontinued our cable service, but i just sneak to our neighbour's house and watch it there. It's like science + fun, a combination that you thought would never mix but they pull it off pretty well. Anybody else watch that show?

Yes buddy!! i love watching that channel. I dont know if its luck but whenever i tune in to discovery channel, i see my fauvorites like, space sciences, robotics, fishes etc. So it is very obvious why i like that channel. Happy watching!!

I watch discovery channel about 4 hours par day. It is a very very good channel.I like watch Future Weapons.

for me i like discovery channel not just because it is a channel that provides lots of informative and interesting documentaries, but because it can actually provide unique documentaries that cater to a wide spectrum of interests. it does not focus on one specific topic, as such i believe that there will always be one or two rpogrammes on discovery channel that is sure to interest anyone at any point of time.

I like watching discovery because of the qualityof documentaries they show is really amazing. The content of their shows is of such stature that it keeps you on the show till it ends and on top of this you get information on everything. Starting from tiny insects to big industries..

I watch Discovery Channel but not that much. I usually watch them when they are showing stuffs about animals because my son loves watching them too. It gives me an easy way on how to explain those things to my son because it serves as my guide and there are lots of times that I, myself learn things from it too. I don't really care what others would say about what I am watching. What matters to me is that I enjoy watching them and more when I learn from them.

Discovery Chennel is interesting. In my thought it is very entertaining and knowledgeful in every respect. Every show is in its best and detailed knowledged is their. 8

I like watching the discovery channel. I enjoy watching all about animals, its fun at the same time I'm learning too. They have all sorts of shows, documentaries and also reality shows like orange county choppers. I regularly watch it. :-)

I like to watch it. I think it has great documentaries. I love to watch documentaries about animals.

I can learn more about the outside world through Discovery and I admire the curiosity of the producers of Discovery. The beautiful pictures also attract me.

Yeah i watch either Discovery Channel or National Geographic Channel.. They have a Cool and very informative shows out there..

For me Discovery is like a main food as well as extra one also.

I think Discovery Channel is one of the best channels i have ever seen... They have such a great team, that they cover almost those places where human beings cannot each... Their investigation of any topic is very deep.. They study a subject thoroughly and find out the root cause why it happened... This channel constantly provides us with tremendous knowledge... At last i just want to say that: "Hats off!!! Discovery Channel..!!!"

I absolutely love the Discovery Channel. Sometimes I feel like I learn more in watching it for 5 minutes than I learn in an entire day. In my area of the US we even have a channel called Discovery Home and you learn about home renovation, landscaping, gardening, etc. I enjoy it as much as I enjoy the nature shows on the regular channel. i like to watch channels like discovery channel...this channel provides lots of information to us. some of its programmes are vry informative.

It's the best channel for learning i have a little brother that knows lots of stuff just from discovery and i'm sure we all have a lot to learn from Discovery !!
