I happen to work at my internet service provider but don't think for a second I would get any discounts or anything. My ISP used to offer me wireless broadband at about half of the speed of a T1 (both up and down) for $30/month. However due to lack of interest for wireless broadband around my area the service has since been discontinued and now I am unfortunately back to unlimited dial-up for $9.95/month. I live in the "country", and I don't even have cable television at my house, so it makes it hard for me to get broadband.

My ISP just introduced a new package so I availed of it as I thought it was great value for money. I used have to pay for my telephone line rental and my broadband as well as all my telephone calls. This used to cost about €160 every two months. Now with my new package, I can have all of these for just €99.98 every two months and all my nationa calls are free after peak hours. I also get a discount on calls made during peak hours as well as a discount on calls to mobile numbers.
