Anyone here use Yahoo! Answers?

I agree...The people here at myLot are much friendlier..for some reason =P

i used it quite little,but in our country we use baidu more frequently.however,i got to know mylot or yahoo is more better than most searching engines in our country.It is fortunate that it can be found in internet,i will login here as much as i can .

Hello! Yes, I use Yahoo Answers from time to time. I don't like them as well because I have over 3000 points there and I am upset that I cannot use the points for anything. I feel that since the points really do nothing for me they should not even have a point system and people should be able to ask questions without penalty like on myLot. I think myLot is better because there are so many users and they pay you for posting. Yahoo Answers does not pay you. However, they have so many languages on there such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Tangolo, etc. On myLot there is only English (for the most part) being used. u r right i agree with u i also like mylot and frst i use to use orkut but noerday i like mylot i m not using orkut i told my many frnds to join mylot but they opposed to that so i dont meet them now bcoz i dont excess orkut much so now only mylot dear

i agree with that, penalised for not knowing some things a bit harsh, both useful to find out information about topics but mylot is better for meeting people. However i found out about mylot through yahoo answers.

I use yahoo answers when I want to get a opinion on something. Cause everyone has different views of certain things and it can be very helpful.

I used to a little bit, but it was usually more for finding specific answers to specific questions. I will still use it on occasion, but I don't answer anything there anymore. If there is something that I can direct to people who might know the answer, then I will ask it there because a lot of times we cannot get those specific responses from myLot, but that's the only time. Even that is kinda starting to not be needed with Yahoo! as well because there are a lot of people on Yahoo! who are not knowledgeable either.

I found mylot on yahoo answers! I used to be addicted to yahoo..trying to get my percentage best answers higher and higher. I left with almost 48% best answers at almost 4000 points...but what do you get for that??? NADA! Now that I have found mylot..I am addicted once again...this time for good!

I personally enjoy both communities the same. I like this one because you make money and I like Answers because people usually only reply if they actually, you know, have an answer.

yeah i use alllllllll the time. they are similar but mylot has a friendlier (is that a word?) crowd. but yahooanswers has helped me a lot!!

I use both yahoo and myLot.whereas in the former you can search for questions easily(it has a search tab ) and more over it has discussions on science and biology. but when it comes to other topics I may use the latter. (well, I've joined only a couple of days ago.)
