I just took an opportunity to donate money to a great cause in the UK and was challenged when it came time to decide how much I was giving!! This is awful...I should know my world's currencies and how they equate in my world...Do you? If you were to give to France would you know what equated to $20 American? Or the currency of India and it's equivilants? I am ashamed of myself..and now am setting out to learn!! How about you? Wiling to share your knowledge or lack of?

Oh well the world currency is changing all the time every day how can you work it out to be exact, but there is a site where you can go to find this out. I do watch my telvision every night to see what my currency is against the U.S. Dollar every time to see if I will either be spending or losing more money when we have to send money or receive it from family members.

I'm always pretty "up" on what the exchange rate is between Canada and US, simply because we go there so much and it's just a short drive across the border. Other then that I am clueless! I need an exchange rate calculator for sure! I might know what the currency is called in many countries but I'm clueless as to what they are equal to in U.S. currency!

Are any of us that familiar with world currency amounts rx? We probably all know the different currencies that affect us personally, e.g. I am familiar with the currency of the UK, USA and Australia because I deal with them all the time, but if I wanted to check out any other currency I would just look on my currency converter.

I really meant my question to be more about how many are we familiar with..and do we at least know the names of the currencies in different countries...Not so much the equivalents exactly..but on a looser scale...I am only familiar with US and Canada...and loosely Mexico...:)

On my part,I am only familiar with the currency amounts on the major currency in the world. With regards to the other currency, I would definitely look their currency amounts on the local newspaper or through internet their equivalents. Thus I would advise that you would do the same.I believe that it would really help .
