ya i know he had sent his resignation. It is not the matter that coach should be an Indian or a foreigner, actually greg chappel is also a very good coach, he is pretty straight forward and a professional. SO India should get a coach who is capable of handling the situations, and put India in the better position, It can be any one in the world, It is not that an Indian citizen only should be the coach, it can be a foreigner also. It comes to the person not the citizen, Let's see who will be the coach.

It doesn't really matter who the coach is .. Greg Chappel is a good coach .. but the fact is the coach can only work with those that the selectors choose. If the Indian Cricket continues to allow show ponies on the team .. who are not necessarily picked because they are the best cricketers .. then sadly they will not perform to the best of their ability.
The Indian cricket selectors need to choose players on merit .. any cricketer who does not perform .. or turn up for training .. should be dropped from the team. That means they all know it is perform or they are off the team .. they can regain form and then be selected again but if they do not regain good form they should not be on the team.
Whether the coach is someone from India or from another country it does not matter .. it is the players who are out their on the field .. they have to do their best or else the team will just not win.

Actually, India has no such player who deserves the coaching of our team. so, by the current situation, BCCI should prefer foreign coach.
