Do you have family members that don't believe you? / myLot

I hear not only family but alot of people that say depression is not real. I learned the hard way its real and hard to deal with.

my family never understood nor payed ne attention to it till i overdosed on purpose not enough to kill me but to get the help i needed. and the psych ward diagnosed me with depression and anxiety disorder. so now they believe me and are dealing with it a lot better. it took a drastic measure to do so but now they do.

Hello! You are right. It is real and is to hart to live with them, to live with is in depresion. That look so, that all family is social ill from. Success!
