most of us dont know how to tell our mum how much we love her---or maybe only me:),now,Mother's Day is the time to show her. It's a chance to say "thank you".
when i was in high school,i usually helped my mum wash dishes and do clean work,i think that is what i should do every day,not especially on Mother's Day.
as for now,i live far away from my mum,so i will give her a call on Mother's Day,i still dont know how to say "I love you",but i know she knows it.
What do you do on Mother's Day? i think whatever you do,your mother knows how much she means to you,and also mine.

I have never missed a mothers day I always right my mother a poem and send her a bouquet of flowers or buy her a plant that she wants. It is my way of telling her I love her and then we take her where ever she wants to go to eat. Even when I was in school my dad made sure us kids did that for her so that was super cool but then we did the same for pa on fathers day.but not flowers he usually got something for the garage

My mother lives in the countryside. We haven't seen each other for almost a year tow. We only talk on the phone and send text messages. And on mother's day I'll suprise her. I'll go and visit her. I'll bring her flowers and fruits. Then we'll go around the town and accompany as she go shopping.
It's kinda awkward to say "I love you, Ma." for a grown up man to her mother, but I've been practising myself to say the magic words.

I'm in the same boat as you. I never know what to get my mom. We aren't the kind of family that say "I love you" I dont ever remember tellin my mom that or hearing her say it to me. I always end up getting her some kind of plant & buying food which my sister cooks for her. (I cant cook) I am hopeing to get her something really special one day.

I too am not so verbally expressive when it comes to showing my love to her, but I try to do the right things as a son.On mother's day,I usually gift her something I know she would love.If I am far from home ,then I call her up to talk to her and ask what her plans are for the day and if she is doing something special.I can't quite say 'I love you' lol. It's only when I am near her on mother's day that I try to make her feel special.I think she knows how much she means to me , but once in a while everyone likes to be reminded.:)

thank you for reminding me of mother's day. I Love my mother deeply.but it is not easy for me to say "mama,I love you”?I am not good at expressing emotion orally.but I always do something special for her.I would call her if I miss her.I would sent a gift to her for her birthday.sometimes I think action speaks louder than words.but maybe words can touch people more directly. anyway, do something make her know how much you care her and how much you love her.not only on Mother's day, but also on every day.

Yes.Mom and dad are very important to me.We love one another very much but we Chinese people do not directly express this emotion by saying 'I Love You'.Now more and more Chinese people know about Mother's Day and Father's Day.And it's a good chance to tell our parent that we love them so much. From now on,I'll try my best to get happy everyday.

Normally, on mother's day my siblings and I prepared a special party for our lovely mom. I always prepared a surprise present for my mother. My brothers and sisters also do a same job as me. At the mother's day night, we treat our mom in exclusif restoran for a special dinner. For me, mother's day is the important day that another day because this day we can said to our mother that we love her very much. Without mother, who are us?? Lets think about a few second.

I’m waiting for the arrival of the coming Mother’s Day. My son is working in a town at quite a distance apart. His returning home to me is regarded as the best present for me. Normally I’ll miss him on that day if he is too busy with his work and couldn’t afford to get a holiday. In case he couldn’t come back he will greet me : happy mother’s day through phone. Yeah most of the Chinese feel reluctant and embarrass to say: ma, wo ai ni, but how about if you say: mom, I love you. lol Do you feel easier to speak out such words in English?

how sensitive about the festival you are.
i am shy to say:mama,i love you.
i think someone has the same case with me.
it doesnot mean that i dont love my mother.
in fact i love her very much.i will try my best to give her good living condition when she is old.
the same to my family .
i think i cannot say that in the coming mother's day.

Your suggestion has reminded me to call my mother on that day,but i also don't how to say "I love you" to my mother.Maybe it is Chiese traditon that say "I love you" to our family face to face.I have seldom to go home every year and I will be more less when I work, but I miss my family wherever I live.

I am not that sweet son enough to give my mother a bouquet of flower, cards.. and stuffs... what is more important for me is that telling her that i LOVE her. and it would mean a lot...
