CELLPHONE vs. BIBLE

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible? Makes you stop and think "where are my priorities?"
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. And no dropped calls!

What a wonderful thought yana! If we all carried our own personal Bible instead of a cellphone, but used it like we use our cellphones, I think the world would be a much nicer place, don't you? No worries about going out of range with a Bible; we would always be connected to the source!
It certainly makes you think about our priorities, that's for sure.

This is a great message. Yes it would make you think and reflect on the Lord and be so much better for you. Our priorities today are not at all where they should be.
This simple procedure would be and easy way of finding that time we all need to study the word and reflect on our beliefs. If only we could do so.
It is rather incredible that only a few short yours ago we did not have those phones with us. Now there are people so connected they must ware hardware in their ear just in case a call comes in. What ever did they do 25 years ago.
And if we communicated with the Lord as much as that how much better off would we be?

I don't have a cell phone, but I agree. This is very inspiring. However much I think I read the Bible and let God speak to me, it isn't enough. He has given us so many ways to find Him, yet we ignore the most basic one - the Bible. I am guilty of it myself.
