My son likes to drink bath water! How can I stop him?

My son is two and use to do the same thing!! Trying to stop him never worked, he just thought it was funny so I stopped saying anything about it and he eventually quit because he wasn't getting a reaction out of me. SO I would say to just ignore it and hope he stops =)

I agree with the previous response. I drank bathwater too when I was a kid. I'm still here. I don't remember if my kids drank the bathwater, but they did some pretty interesting things, as all kids do, and they are still here. Don't make a big deal of it. The worst than can probably happen is that he would get some soap and have loose bowels. This is my professional mom opinion. If you are otherwise concerned I would say get a doctor's opinion. But mostly I think just letting it be and not giving him a big reaction will probably bring the best results.
