Sunny rain

When i was young, i once saw the sunny rain. The sun shins strongly, and the rain rains heavily.
Have you ever seen?
How can it become?

I often see sunny rain. This is an interesting phenomenon. I think this happened because the rain cloud is too small that can't overcast the sun.

Several years ago, I lived in Miami Florida...where I saw exactly that...the sum shining big and bright and the rain coming down in what seemed like bucket loads. It is very strange to actually see. I do not know what causes this to happen but have only seen it happen that one time so, I do not think it happens a whole lot...INteresting though isn't it?
