Review Stream PAID ME!!!

It took about 2 months for me to hit the 50 dollar mark, but it could have been much faster. They've changed it a little bit now where you immediately get to know if you got paid 1.50 or bulk rate 30 cents. It seems no matter what I review now, it's only the 30 cent rate.... so, not sure the change benefits the writer anymore!!

RenaeT, thanks for the info. I did check it out yesterday and am going to give it a try. When I first checked it out about a month or so ago the site said they paid anywhere from $1 to $5 per review.

I know. . . I was getting concerned because they seemed to slow way down when publishing my last 10. So I thought maybe they were just going to drag the last 10.00 out so long I'd give up!!

I don't know what the minimum length is, I usually write alot, so they never had to tell me that. I suppose if you write a thorough review, and you know you've covered all the bases, such as, cost, where you bought it, why you like it, what you don't like, what it's made of, ingredients. . . it shouldn't be too short. When you go to the site, read some of the other people's reviews and you'll get the idea.

I worked with it, in the first time i did it and my review always said "my review is too short" so i filled out all the space given and finally i got it.

Well, I wasn't working until a week ago. Now I'm working a temp job. I do eBay, my greeting cards, myLot, and Review Stream. Those definitely keep me in front of the computer! Sometimes I even think my cat gets disgusted with how many hours I sit in this office!! LOL!

I know...I think my cats wonder what the fascination is with me sitting in front of this screen...they'd rather I pay attention to them!

Here's what I did to get lots of reveiws that paid the 1.50. I am a real organized person, and I keep all our owners manuals to EVERYTHING we own in a box. I put the box next to my computer and a few times a day, I get out the next owners manual out, read it over, highlight good things and bad things about the product, write my review, give my personal experiences and it's easy! It's just like when you're talking to someone about something you bought and are telling them how you like it or not. when you go to reviewstream, where it says, Find Reviews, just type in Renae . . . then you will see all my reviews I've done to get an idea how I did wrote them.

Hi im thinking also of what you did. I already organizing things to do it. Every weekend ill try to read books and stuff so i could do the commenting base from my experienced and also the feedback of my family with all the products that we are using at home.

I wouldn't bother doing review stream anymore. They have changed the way they pay and they rarely pay over 30 cents for anything anymore. So, don't bother unless you don't mind spending 15 mintutes writing something for 30 cents.

Hi Susie, I haven't been writing reviews much because I'm working again. But, yes, I'm up to 22.00 again, so when I hit $50.00 I should get a payment again. I'll let you know when I do! My goal this weekend is to write 10 reviews.

I've slowed down too much on my reviews! I need to get back into it. I got a fulltime job and don't have too much extra time these days! It's good, but, I miss doing the reviews.

It took me about a month, but, anyone can do it in a week or so. I just took my time. The do not pay for referrals. The review isn't required to be any length, but it definitely needs to be specific. I mean, if you're reviewing a toothpick, it won't be a long review, but if you are reviewing the new Vista Windows System, you might write 2 pages! It just needs to be quality, specific. I don't know of any other sites like this. I don't even remember how I found www.reviewstream.com.

I wrote over 40 reviews,they must be very detailed and factual, so you have to do your homework. Yes, you have to wait for them to approve them. You will get an email anywhere from 24 to 72 hours after submitting your review saying they were published or rejected. Some of the reviews are only worth 30 cents and are considered 'bulk' rate. Those are things like book reviews, movies etc. . . . the ones that pay 1.50 are electronics, appliances. . . big things. Hope that helped.

Hi Derek, Well, that depends. I got to my 50 bucks in a month and I don't feel like I really worked all that hard for it. I could have gotten to 50 sooner. It's just an individual thing. It depends on the time you have to sit and review. It depends on the quality of your reviews too, if you reviews are short and don't have much detail, you can get rejected or only get bulk rate at 30 cents instead of 1.50. AND, some of the things you review, no matter how detailed, will only get you bulk rate anyway. Those things are books, moveies, food, things like that. if you want to get $1.50 for each one, you have to go for the big stuff like medications, appliances, yard tools, lawn mowers, etc. . . I got all the owners manuals in my house together and did reviews on all the appliances. If you get rejected the first time around, re do it, and mark bulk rate, that way you still might get 30 cents instead of nothing. There you go!

I certainly do not recommend them quite as highly anymore. They have revamped the way they do it and I have yet to get paid more than 30 cents for anything in a long long time. I hardly write a review on there anymore because I got discouraged. I used to be able to get 1.50 for almost anything I wrote about because human beings read them and decided what they would pay. Now, they have it automated and rather than wait a couple days to find out what you get paid, it comes up immediately, but no matter how long the review, how detailed, how excellent, it pays 30 cents. So . . . I have no pointers for you. Sorry.
