Beauty - Fair or tanned?

What makes a woman physically beautiful? I know that beauty comes from the inside, but what I really want to know is what really makes her beautiful outwardly. In some Asian countries, Asian women go for fair skin, so that whitening products fill out the cosmetic sections. In the Western and European countries, they go for tanning, preferring dark skin. There was an experiment I've seen on one of the Filipino TV where they've been showing pictures of a very simple fair skinned woman and a sophisticated tanned skinned woman. Most of the men thought that the fair skinned woman was more beautiful than the other. In America, heads would really turn to see a tanned woman. What do you think is a physically beautiful woman?

I think what makes a beautiful woman, is the geometry of her curves and looks. It means the all over proportionality of her physical appearance. Because, some may be fair complexion, but yet quite chubby or have a long face. Some wouldn't find her beautiful. Same for tan women. And I think it also lies on opposite attractions. Like caucasian, they like asians or color persons. For asians , they like the caucasians' attributes. So, for me it is more on the whole package itself or appearance. And how someone holds itself.
