How did your partner pop the question?

The funny thing is that my husband never proposed to me. We were dating and one day we were talking about the future and how many kids we wanted or didn't want and whether we would live in Dallas or not and we agreed on so many things. We went to his parents house and told them that we had decided to get married. Then we went to my parents' house and told them we had picked a date. It was never really a question of would I marry him, but more of a question of when. We just knew that we were getting married and we just needed to figure out when we would get married.

Mine was not very romantic at all.. I was with him and his mother at his aunt's house.. His mother was actually the one who sort of opened up the topic.. She said,"Why dont the two of you get married..".. And he was like, "So do you want us to get married?".. Of course I said yes even though a more creative and more romantic proposal could have been better..

It was last year on Valentines day. I was sitting on the couch in the living room when he handed me a card and a teddy bear. I opened the card and the ring fell out. That's how my proposal happened. Words were not needed. We're getting married in August.
