I like the album. I never had a problem with what Natalie said, because I was pretty much thinking the same thing at the time. The office of the president is something to be respected, but this guy is a total yahoo.
Anyway, the album is great. The music is some of their best. I don't think "Ready to make nice" is even the best song on the album. "Silent House" makes me think of my grandma and makes me cry. Their music has always been able to invoke certain feelings in me, and that's what music should be about. Kudos to them for their comeback. I'm glad they're breaking away from country music and the Toby Keith types out there.

I think they're still into country music but with a combination of another genre... It's Country Pop...

I absolutely love this album. I got a kick out of them winning all of those country category Grammys after country had abandoned them. When I first got it, I listened to "Not Ready To Make Nice" over and over, but I finally started listening to the rest of it, and it's just fabulous!

When I fist heard the Song by the Dixie Chicks; Shut up and Sing, I literally and very spontaniously stood to my feet and applauded with just joy and pride that I totally shocked my. I even shouted out. You go girls, I am proud of you! I couldnt' believe myself.. really I have never had a reaction like that before. I just wanted to hug them and say I am so proud of you!

I love their newest CD and love the fact she stood up for what she believed.
