I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old who are non stop. They love to play and love to run and laugh and get into everything. I will normally just take them outside into the yard with me and let them play while I am out there. We have washable chalk to draw on the driveway and patio with which is a huge hit with them. We have buckets and shovels (small plastic ones) that they love to scoop dirt and rocks up with and carry it around. Have a wagon they sit in and love for me to pull them around in also. There are many many different ways to engage the attention of a toddler or two. Most of them just want to have their parents attention and will be happy as long as they have it. If it is possible to get them out of the house and play for an hour or two then I would highly recommend doing it. My kids would rather be outside than inside anytime. Sometimes we go to the park and I push them on the swings and help them go down the slide etc. Hope this gives you a few ideas. Good luck.

well, childrens are very active so engage them in a play or read some story book with them. dont try to do the same thing everyday because children have very limited attention. try to be more creative in inventing some plays for your kids.
