cant guys have girls as their best friend???

my best friend is a girl.. she's such a fine person. after she came into my life i've changed a lot in the better way.whenever i was down she used to bring me up. but then people say that a girl and a boy cant stay as friend for long as later on they fall in love.. i dont think thats true. so what do you have to say on this topic??

May i ask you first,how long have you two know each other?Is she beautiful or ugly? I also think boys and girls can't keep as just friends for a long time.If you like each other very much,then it will develop into love at the end.
But there is exception:if the woman is much older than the man,like she can be his aunt.they may keep friendship for a long time.and vice versa.
But you have said,your best friend is a girl.So i think you will love her in the end.(unless she is very ugly,but i think she isn't )

hey i got a girlfriend.. so there's no question of falling in love with my best friend.yeah we do like each other's company. we think the best for each other. but i dont think we'l ever fall in love as we are happy with our respective partners. and we are happy being best of friends. i dont think i'l agree with you.. nand my best friend is not even ugly. she's the cutest person i've ever met..

Love is love what ever the case is, but love has deeper meaning than boy meets girl, There is the paternal love, agape, platonic and romantic love. Your predicament with love is a case to case bases and it's up to both of you if you two want to make it to the next level. I have many female friends and one of them is my girlfriend and best friend and it seems to be ok. As long as there is no harm involve then it's fine by me, this is only my personal opinion on some personal matters.

Well.. why can guys have girls as their best friend??? my best friends are mostly gals.. and i find that i cant relate more to a gal than a guy..
Guy are normally less sensitive than a gal.. i get along well with all my best friends and nothing went wrong la.. i have know all of them from 5 yrs to 14 yrs.. so i think its ok..
