How do you eat your tuna? Is the bread toasted, grilled or plain?

I like an open-faced tuna melt on toast made in the oven broiler...just like Mom used to make :) MMMMM-mm, good!

That is the way we have alway's made ours. I posted this question while I was eating one and thought it would be a good question to ask, a lot of people have never heard of it like that. If you explain a grilled cheese and add your tuna dressing it's easier to understand.

In my state Sabah, North Borneo island, tuna being sold freshly at the wet market and we can buy the whole shape of the fish at one time with a cheap price. As Asian peoples, we have several kind of dish to cook tuna in our meals. Tuna can be fried with turmeric powder and tamarind juice, cooked in curry, cooked in dried chili paste, cooked in coconut milk, etc. I haven't tried the grilled tuna melt yet, bu we do make a fresh tuna grill and taste nice when serve with the dried shrimp paste and chili sauce.

i havent tried this yet, but im thinking im gonna have too, do have the recipe ? if not i can look it up. Im from kentucky and i havent had this, but then again im a youngin so im sure maybe my grandma has lol

make it like a grilled cheese sandwich add the tuna mixture last, mayonnaise, onion, egg, sweet pickles enjoy and sorry it took so long for me to reply
