whats the best thing that you learnt from your mom/dad?

I have learn lot of thing from my mom and dad, my dad learn me to be independent.And my mom learn me to help and care poor people.

the best thing i've learnt from my mom is how not to depend on other people. my dad betrayed her few years back. she was devastated but she fought back because of her children. she always tell us not to bother other people, not even from our husband. so even after i got married, i still make my own decision. if it involves us as a couple, i still have some say in every decision made. i will teach my children the same thing when they grow up.

The best thing which I have learned from my parents is having values. Value God and religion, value parents and all the ones we love, value education, value life, etc. There are so many things in life which we must give value for what they are and hold them dearly. Most of us fail to value these things and disregard their importance considering these things to be commonplace and ordinary as though we always deserve them. We must remember that we cannot be what we are if our parents were not there, our morality and spirituality shall not be in place without religion, the mornings will not be beautiful without the morning sun - a good environment makes this world worth living yet, so few of us give much value to it.

the best thing that my mom taught me is wrapped up in the golden rule: to do unto others what you want others to do unto you. she would also tell me this whenever i do something which is not good. this has been my guiding principle ever since she told me about this concept. i still bear this in mind as i mature, i pass this thought forward. i share this with other people, which in turn helps them in their everyday lives.

What I learn from my parents is that to be tolerant. They always tell me that we should be kind to others and never think of hurting people.

The best i've learned from my mother is to be independent in this battle of life you must move on and get your self a way to be able to accomplish your dreams in life. And the best thing i've learned from my father is to trust few people he said i must love all but you must choose few people whom you will give your trust with.

i think the best thing i learned from my mom is to try and reach for my goals and never give up school. all she would ever want from me is my degree and keep going further.

my mum tought me a few of things 1,never let a man hit you 2,dont have a baby to young,have some fun first 3,dont rely on anybody

Both my parents had a very opposite views and personalities. From my father, its to work hard to earn money. My father was such a business minded person that all he could think about was how to increase his money. From my mother, its how to show respect and to have a compassion heart to everyone.

yes,that's one things i learn from my parents that is to save money and use it when it needed only. The other things is that i learn to try to be nice in front of the people, behave yourself and don't make other people think bad about you.

My mum and dad didn't have much to teach me since they couldn't be bothered. However the best thing I learned from my grandma was to be true to yourself, live life to the fullest with joy, smile everyday, find joy in everything and never judge others as you've never walked in their moccasins! :)

I have learnt a lot from my parents.My father has taught me to be honest & truthful.He has always sacrificed his likings for us.Similarly my mom has taught me to be always sacrificing .She is a wonderful lady always smiling.She has taught me to be patient & firm believer of God.Overall spirituality what i have learnt from them.
