I've been working as a technical support for laptop and desktop computers for two years now, and I'd be more than willing to discuss any issues you might be having. I can give professional and friendly advise. Hopefully I could also learn from others' experiences. Feelfree to ask me anything about common problems such as (no internet connection, slow system performance, Windows Vista issues, etc..)

This is great. :) I have something that bothers me right now, it's not really a biggie since I don't turn off my laptop that often but it still bothers me. Anyway, I've tried installing a different version of XP on my laptop, but decided against it so I quit the install process and continued working on my existing XP install. However when I restart or I turn on my laptop, I get a prompt on whether I want to "run windows XP setup" or "run windows XP"... Something like that. And the default is the XP setup. How can I resolve this?

Hmmm.... That's odd, but my question is, how did you install your XP? Did you do it while you're logged onto Windows? If you're getting a message before logging into windows saying "which windows installation would you like to log on to?" You can delete the extra boot path from te system configuration window under the boot.ini. But if this is not the problem that you're having, I suggest you do a clean installation. Meaning you have to back up all your important files and reformat the HDD. If you need assistance in doing that, Let me know so I can send you a more detailed Step-by-step guide on how to do it. You just need your Windows CD and all your CD's for the device drivers. To get to the system configuration screen, go to startRuntype "msconfig" Hope I was able to help.

I also have slow connection during noontime here so I think the problem is with the ISP since during this time many users are using the network that's why we have to share the bandwidth. I guess there's nothig we can about it.
