the Dallas Mavericks can make history this season if they could win the next 8 games to reach and to be included in the list of teams that did ( actually only one team did it so far, the mighty 1996 Chicago Bulls! Laugh out Loud ) reach the 70 win plateau mark. The Mavs ranking number one in the NBA with a win-loss record of 62-12 at the moment, must though win the remaining games on their schedule to reach that goal. And if they indeed do win 70, will this lead to a NBA championship. We don't know yet. Teams tend to become more determined during Playoffs, because you "do it" or "go home". The pressure are on the Mavs. Everybody wants to beat the Mavs. May it be the Spurs or the Suns, or even Houston and Denver. Especially the Suns, who have won the last two times this both teams met. However, thats for the Playoffs to find out. But what i am interested in is to know your opinions on the Mavs 70 mark?

Too bad the Dallas Mavericks couldn't reach 70+ plus. I didn't want them to reach it anyways because I really like the Chicago Bull's team who won 72 games. So how about them Warriors. I think they have a shot at the Mavericks. Both teams have similar styles of play. Hope the Warriors can pull it off.

They didn't make it to the 70-win mark. They ended the eliminations with a 67-15 card, three wins below 70, but still earning the homecourt edge throughout the whole playoff juncture. They will face the eighth-seeded Golden State Warriors, the only team in seven years to sweep the Mavs in a regular season series, 3-0.
