I don't know if there is such a name but if there isn't, just maybe there should be at least a title bestowed upon those of us dads who take on mom's duties, and then become grandfather's. What happens when Mr.and Mrs.moms' kids leave the nest and return down the road with grandchildren in tow? I just know there has to be at least a few fellas out there somewhere in my unique position with similar concerns, or a lady who is married to one of us that can add some input here. I really do hope i'm not the only aging Mr.Mom. in the whole wide modern world. The guy who now makes the pancakes for the grandkids' breakfast, does the grocery shopping, cooking, and takes care of the house and all of those other domestic chores. How does Mr.Mom eventually retire or does Mr.Grand-mom' just naturally appear in these unchartered waters of modern role reversal? Hey i'm already doing the job so i think i'll just claim the title of Mr.GrandMom, if nobody here objects that is.

Congralations on your new title.Sounds like you have earned it.There is nothing wrong with being a mister mom I think its great and makes you a well rounded grandpa. So many grandpas do nothing with there grandkids they expect grandma to do it all.

Thank you mrsbrian (412) as this was my very first post here at mylot I really do thank you for the nice comment.
I've been mister(helper mom) for several years and I can admit I do love it, and am honored to be one.
Grandkids are the tops aren't they?
