There are so many ways different families celebrate Easter. It could be from going to church, having a big family dinner, hiding eggs for the children to find or the playing the infamous Easter Bunny for your children.
Myself, my son is at a age, his little imagination about the easter bunny is gone. lol....Normally we would go to church and have a big family feast at the end of the day. Since I don't live close to my family anymore, it's my son and myself, we normally go over my best friend house and celebrate it with them.
Do you celebrate Easter? How do you spend your Easter? What things do you do? Do you and your family celebrate Easter a different way? If you have any stories you would like to share that has or you look forward to on Easter Sunday?

I love Easter. I go to see my grandchildren and we paint eggs, the kids look for their goodies from the Easter bunny and we have a big turkey dinner. There's nothing better than family.

That's so very true, I miss being around my family around the holidays. I don't miss Thanksgiving and Christmas though.

i am of a different faith than my mother-but i will wheel her down to her church for mass and pick her up later.i usually make a ham dinner for her as she likes that, and some cadbury eggs also.
she has decided she likes those better than colored easter eggs LOL.

When I was younger, that was hour my Easters were also. Now, with my son not believing in the Easter bunny, we go have dinner with my best friend and her family

Well, this is our son's first easter so of course we will be playing the easter bunny. I've already got all of his stuff and I can't wait to make up his little basket. I love to dye eggs each year too so I'm going to do that with the kids I babysit today and I'll let my son put some stickers on there so he'll be able to participate too. We are going to go visit my husband's dad and stepmom and then going to visit his mom and stepdad. Then we will come back and stop by my mom's and have an Easter dinner. My grandmother bought my son a cute little outfit to wear and I can't wait to take some pictures of him in it.

My Easter is usually pretty complicated. I'm in a mainly Christian family, and my girlfriend (soon to be fiance) is Greek Orthodox. Typically it's the family dinner. I guess there's nothing that really stands out from mine, because it's what I'm accustomed to. We do the egg hunt for the younger ones.
At my girlfriend's family thing, they do the red dye easter eggs, and the egg tapping.
Really it's just a good family dinner and get-together.

I think Easter should be treated a bit like Christmas. It should be a time for families to come together and celebrate just being a family. The joy of having family to something very special

well for me we celebrate Easter with my parent's place here in Dumaguete City. Since I have a family of my own now, i have them with me here. together with my siblings, we celebrate it just a simply as we could but as memorable and prayerful as it was way back when we were still kids then!
all of us will be going to the beach at my sister's place together with my three kids since the beach is very inviting and the tide is high, though i have to be extra watchful and careful as the kids will surely swim!
happy easter though...

This Easter I will be going to church with my parents in the morning and then we will have a nice dinner in the afternoon. That is usually how we spend Easter since my other family are in Texas and are not able to come here. I will probably spend some time on myLot that day but not too much. When I was younger, we used to do easter egg hunts or my parents would put a basket of candy on the table for me, my brother and sister.

Well from my childhood memories I celebrate Easter differently from you. What my parent does is, boil a couple of eggs, and hide them along with plastic eggs filled with candy. I remember I would try and get as many plastic eggs I can because we could keep them and eat them whenever we want. However, the catch is, for my parents, is to eat any and all real boiled chicken eggs, we find. It's kind of a perk for me to get nutrients.
