The Indian cricket is on a new verge. The confidence level of cricket team & also the cricket played in India has lowered considerably. It's time to review/change our
cricketing style, our false beliefs & we need to concentrate more on our quality of cricket. The new talent pool is to be searched now.We must accept that our Indian cricket stars are also human beings. It's high time now that we should stop giving importance to cricket only. There are lot many other games which are to be given public encouragement.
I hope that this is the worst ever phase in Indian cricket, hopefully we will come out of it with a new sporting & winning spirit.

Yes, INdian cricket should hav a new face now. w should look 4 new talents to make our team more stronger than any team in the world. see AUSTRALIA & SOUTH AFRICA,,,how good they play. the reason for them to be best in the world is that they if they dont perform, then they will be taken out of team but in INDIA, no 1 face this strictness. see SEHWAG, he didnt play good for 1 yr but still in the team,,,,,,

I believe that Future of Indian Cricket is much brighter, considering they learn from their present mistakes. The players have excellent skill and talent but still they fail to perform when needed especially the star players who do not perform when India needs them most. Reason i think is their attitude. The players are lacking a positive mental attitude and that is making a big difference while playing to other nations. We should learn from teams like australia , south africa & srilanka who never leave hope till the last ball or wicket. So the coach should now also focus on developing a positive attitude in them apart from skills and physical fitness. There is no reason that we stop giving importance to cricket.

Aren't we really sick and tired of Cricket team anymore. Lets think about something else can we. We had such big crisis in our country in Nithari, is that less important than cricket. Shame on us Indians that we are more worried about our cricket performance than the children who became victim of this crisis.

I see a very bleak future for indian cricket. I think indian cricket will slowly and steadily go down the barrel as it happened to hockey in india, as the performance of the indian cricket team is deteriorating and has reached the lowest ebb in its entire history and it has become so much commericial that it has lost its sheen and everything is done these days only for money. I have decided to stop watching indian cricket and make some politicians and others millionaires like it is happening now.

The Indian cricket has come across in the critical situation because of failing in the singles round.. we can make some new player make thim into the team. It is not the thing cricket is not only game in the nation we can give encouragements to other games also....
we can spend money for others game also.. Not only for one game..

In any sports there will always b highs and lows.If we are ready to slug it out then this phase will soon be over, but for becoming a world beating team ,the players need to show greater commitment and discipline. The domestic structure of cricket also needs change and upcoming cricketers should be hand picked and exposed to international conditions by exchange of players with foreign counties.I am sure that within 3 series Indian cricket will see the emergence of a new self-motivated leader.

I think Indian cricket is going through a worst time, Lack of consistency is verymuch in there. Let every body hope for a new good stable Indian team. Mean while BCCI should consider to give a percentage of their earning to sports ministery to help other sports to devolop. Because only cricket is not sprot , it attracts people only because of its glamour & financial attractions.

At the first place more than the players its the problem of the over expectations of the fan. I mean sometimes hope can drive you irrational but you cannot always expect it to come true. India's world cup faliure is nothing different. See India was ranked 6 in the ranking and logically you cant expect such a team to surf into super eights so easy. Then again India's unexpected loss against Bangladesh might be what infuriated the fans but this is a time for analysis. The best possible time for a reframing of Indian team. Surely Indian team will come out successfull like the pheonix bird. Team India is pretty famous for that. Let us hope and pray for the same

I agree with you man. That the fans of our team have badly over-reacted to our teams performance in the world-cup. And i dont think that the players are to be blamed for this it was our fate and it happened. The players didn't intentionally lose from the cup.
This is the reason why i take indias stand whwnever there's a discussin on our team. Whether its here on MyLot or its among my friends. I would request you also to stand up for our team whenever they need us.

This is the time when future of Indian cricket is under darkness. They have shattered everybody's hopes.
Yesterday i read in newspaper that some villages have banned playing cricket in their village as they think that this is a useless game which has made a lot of people mad for it.And it is not good for the youth.
This shows how people have started hating this game because of the performance of Indian cricket team. This is very unfortunate.

ya i also agree that indian cricket is going in its worst condition, but the fact is that the indians will continue to stick on cricket eventhough the performence level of cricketers decrease, its the time to change captiancy into new hands..most suitably who had previous experience of it..whom which i prefer Ganguly, the coach needs to be changed.the players should improve in almost all fields ...fielding,batting& bowling, ofcousre young cricketers should replace the players like Sehwag..who are in a bad form now.Never blame them the responsibility eventhough it's their responsibility, because in this situation only indians are with them..to give them a support even in a crisis situation
