Is there a point of life?

What is the point of life.The way i see it is you are born and then you die.What is the point of that.

One you are born, till you die, there are so many stages in the life and so many decisions you have to take in the life for your survival. If there is no point at all in the life, what for you have joined and why are you earning ?? Before going in depth, I want to know more about you.. You are like a pessimist.
