If you could compile a human being from scratch (as you can see this is a hypothetical discussion:))what characteristics would you endow it?
Would it be a man, a woman, would you go for looks first or would you prefer to focus on the 'inside', would this perfect person be similar to yourself or completely different,...?

We may never know the answer to that because we ourselves are not even perfect to start with. Only a totally perfect being can make another perfect thing; just my sense of logic. Anyway, if I had the chance to make human as close to perfection as I can, I'd say I'll give him the power to do and/or make whatever it is the instance it pops out of his mind, he will be immortal, immune to any flaw, totally omnipotent and all the other super god stuff.

Ahhhh....tough one, this!
First of all, I'd make certain that "my human" had all the qualities of Jesus Christ, because He was the most "perfect" human history has recorded to date. He understood far beyond his peers about the human condition and how it relates to getting along in the world. He understood without any doubt or question what His purpose on Earth was; to live as an example for Mankind, and to die for Mankind's forgiveness and Spiritual salvation. Jesus Christ is still the most 'influential' human being ever to have lived here on Earth; indeed, all of humanity has been affected by His life and/or teachings. Furthermore, Jesus Christ always taught Love, Peace, Forgiveness, Mercy, Grace, Acceptance, and all the other "good" qualities we all know the world needs so much more of!
Whether or not I'd select a Man or a Woman is more difficult.....I don't think it makes any difference, but here's some thoughts on each one:
-Men may be physically stronger, but
-Women may be emotionally stronger.
-Men may be inclined to be the "provider", but
-Women may be inclined to be the "nurturer".
-Men may be thought of as more 'authoritative', but
-Women may be thought of as more 'compassionate'.
I guess the "perfect" person could be either one...it's more about what they have "inside" that makes all the difference...obviously, "looks" cannot offer much in my opinion.
Re: whether or not this 'perfect person' would be similar to myself, or...: I cannot say I'm very close to being "perfect", so I'm sure this person would be different from myself. And, I don't know of anyone else today who can measure up to Jesus Christ's level of 'perfection', so I'd have to say this person would be truly unique to all others, past present or even future!
May God Bless All!
