Say for instance, you a broke and hungry you are walking down the street, you see this wallet in front of a home. You pick up the wallet. The wallet has id in it that matches the house you are standing by. The wallet has two thousand dollars in it. Would you take the entire wallet full of money to it's owner? Would you take a portion of the money and give the wallet back? Would you take all of the money, throw the wallet on the porch and run?

Of course i will bring it back. $2000 dollars wouldn't make me rich. If i keep it for myself, sooner or later the money will be gone but my conscience will bother me for the rest of my life. What if the person needs the money to pay for the hospital bills of his love ones. I wouldn't want that thing to happen to me also. The golden rule states that Do unto others what you want them to do unto you. Be kind and God will bless you for your good deeds. Do good!

I would give it back. i know if it was me who lost my wallet and someone found it i would like it if they gave me back my money. they could need that money to pay rent or whatever. Give it back, from that good deed you will get it back ten fold

i think even if i am broke and hungry i would not have the courage to take the money. i believe in karma, and it happened to me quite a number of times already that i wouldn't want to happen again. the best thing to do is return it to the rightful owner. also think about how you would feel if you were in the owner's shoes? what if that was his/her last money too? worse, what if the owner needs that money to keep someone alive? wouldn't that make u guilty?

If that would happen to me...I would rather choose to be hungry than to spend the money of other person...I would probably return the money to the owner.because i believe in karma.

If I were very hungry I would take a portion of the money and post the wallet through the letter box. If I needed nothing I would post the money with the full amount inside it. This may make me sound immoral, but my response was an honest one. Morals and ethics become less significant than food to somebody who truly knows what hunger feels like.

It should be given back to the owner but if the wallet contain no information about the owner then there is no reason to take it back to him. It means you own it. Finder's keeper.

I will definitely give it back if I can find out the person...Otherwise I will keep it with myself. In case if its a huge sum of money, then I will hand it over to some responsible authorities like police with the necesaary details like where I got it and what time and whcih date etc...so that they can find out the real owner of it...

no matter how poor and hungry i am, my conscience will dictate to me to return the money back where it belongs. his id and house number is inside the wallet, so i will look for the rightful owner.

Any body who see that wallet would first think of taking that ,it's human nature. But I think I will return that money to the owner. It's because the argument that 'you are hungry' is not enough to take that money. It's totally wrong. The person to whom the wallet belongs may really need that money more than we do.They deserve that money. The money is his/her hard work.We don't have any right to take that.Any one can feel my theme if they keep themself in the place who is the owner of the wallet and searching for it.

i'll take out enough money to end my hunger then go to the owner of the wallet and then tell them that i have take some money from the wallet and hand over them their wallet. because there would be something more important thing than money in the wallet. and if i will not take some money to meet my requirements then i could die if i have not any other money source

I would give it back to its owner. I have no right to possess something that doesn't belong to me. If I am in the owner's shoes, I would really feel bad if my wallet is not returned to me. I would return the wallet with the money still intact.

Yes, I'd return it. All of it, if I know where to return it. These things could happen to you, and it could even be worse. If you'd return it, you might get rewards from HIM. The rewards may be tenfold! But don't do it because of hope for rewards. Do it, because you don't want to be a victim of it someday.

If I found a wallet in front of a house I wouldn't know how much money was in it because I wouldn't bother to count it. I would find the address of the owner and return it to them. I would hope that if I lost my wallet someone would do the same for me. Ill gotten gains are not good. Only a dishonest person would take the money.

i would return the wallet in tact with all the money inside. i do not believe in stealing. FOr all you know, that person is hurting just as much as you are and that money was all they had left in the world. For all you knwo that could have been their inheritance from a parent that passed on reccently and they need that money to buy food for their own family.

Well, i think the best way to do when find a wallet full of money is to give it back to the owner of that wallet because may be he need it much more than us! May be he would have been in problems and this money might be the only way to come up from those problems! We should not think of keeping that money to us. It also can happen to us. Think that you needed money and you have lost it! You will feel that you have lost your life! We should care for others.

In as much as I need the money I would still return it to the owner. Reasons why I would return the money: it's not mine, it's wrong to steal it's even stated in the 10 commandments of God, what if the money in the wallet is all the owner has, i don't want to have karma and karma is more then what you did and if I return the wallet with the money the owner would be very happy and if he really is thankful he would give me a portion of the money as reward.
