do you wear spectacles?

I don't wear glasses. I had an interesting episode when I was young, I once had some problem in the eye and the doctor advised me to wear glasses. I bought one and started wearing and started having regular headaches. Then I noticed that I can see better without the glasses than with them. So then I stopped wearing glasses. After some time I went and showed my eyes to another doctor and he said that my eyesight was perfect and that I did not need any glasses at all. As there were conflicting views from two doctors, I went for a third opinion which confirmed that I did not require glasses. Since then I have not used glasses. As I also sit in front of the computer most of the day here are couple of suggestions that might help your eyes. 1) Wash your eyes regularly atleast once every hour. 2) Get into the habit of blinking your eyes regularly. That replenishes the moisture in the eyes and reduces pain. 3) Eat plenty of green vegetables especially spinach. Cheers! Ram

I only need glasses to read or to look at something that is small. Other wise i can see fine. I hate wearing glasses . Didn't start wearing them till i got older. My eyes used to be perfect.

I wear spectacles from my young age continuously. Even at the age of 64 My eyebsight has stayed or got imroved, since I wore the glasses. One should test the eyes and confirm that the glasses are required or not. I was not aware that I should use spectacle. I used to trouble the teacher in my class very often, on the topics that he used to write on the black board. He advised me one day to get my eyes tested. With greate reluctance I went to doctor. But that helped me a lot. I had very slight power and usage of glasses helped to stop further deterioration of the eyes.

I wear spectacles almost all the time. I am short sighted and have been wearing spectacles since I was about 12 (almost 30 years)

I don't wear glasses at all. I guess my eyesight is quite good.

Sitting infront of computer for a long duration makes eyes tired depleting the tear glands so move away from computer for every two or three hours. I too wear spectacles and one of my eye gets reddened due to using computer

No glasses here. Not yet anyways, I see pretty good, but if I actually went for an eye check they would probably tell me I need glasses. I just don't want to wear them yet.
