Spending time with YOUSELF, not engaged in activity or with others, is a very nurturing thing to do. Do you do it??
If not, you should, you deserve it and it is found to very restful. Give yourself the GIFT of those few moments to dream, take a breath, notice the calm.
Feel the gratitude of the wonderful things and people in your life.

I don't do that as with a household of seven it is incredibly hard to find anytime to have time for yourself lol .
I do agree that it can be a healthy thing to do as we all need time to ourselves . It helps if you are feeling stressed or overworked or just as a way to appreciate all that we have in life .

you're right abaout that. I do it whenever I'm home. I spend some time in my room. Trying to think of the things that happen to me for that day. Evaluate my decisions, and then I meditate. It is really very relaxing.

I agree! My alone time is in the morning. I am a morning person so I am up before anyone else in my house. I make a cup of tea and enjoy the morning. Sometimes I go walking by myself and this seems to stimulate my thoughts and also enjoy the outdoors.

I also believe that it is good to spend some time alone every day. And I do it. At night after eating dinner with my family and spending some bonding time with them, I go to my room where I can be alone. I lay in bed and I think about the things that happened to me that day. I also think about my plans for the future. I enjoy these moments because I can think clearly.

i try to meditate in total seclusion for one hour a day. My family understand it and its certainly healthy for me. It allows me to clear my mind and to get things straight , like some kind of mental audit
blessed be

I actually prefer to be alone and I think it's great. I don't have to worry about getting in the way of everyone or making someone angry. It does help you be able to deal with other people more. For some people, especially those with children, it can be next to impossible to be alone. You always have to keep an eye on the young ones. And, not all husbands are supportive and will take the kids away for a day so that moms can have their alone time.

When my fiance is out of town on business I spend a lot of time alone. I relish that time. It's "MY" time. When he is home, I get no time to myself. It's nice to be alone to daydream, read, take a long bubble bath or meditate.

i try to take time for myself, but it is hard when i am a single mom, there is always something to do, and though i have a boyfriend he is working long hours lately to make up some money we lost when he wasn't working and to help pay of some of my medical bills. Though he is not my son's father, i think my son misses him more then his own father, so I have to try to keep him occupy so that he doesn't ask questions and get all stressed out.

I completely agree with you. I think some well deserved time alone is very re-energizing. I also think a lot of peopleneed just a few minutes a day to kind of keep their sanity with how hectic the world is now days. I look forward to having some time to spen alone with myself just to think, or do whatever I decide to do.

Although I can be considered a social butterfly, I do enjoy my alone time, as well. It's nice to take the time to myself to just breathe and jsut be. I don't have to put on a show. I don't have to play a part. I don't have to meet expectations. It's great. I like to take the time to think about everything going on in my life, and think about all the possibilities of the future. I like to take a stroll alone at night to just admire the stars. It's a very peaceful time of my day. But, I also enjoy reminiscing / dreaming about the future with my husband when he's in a peaceful place, too. There's always magic.

Yes I agree time alone is something everyone should do everyday. I don't get a whole lot of time alone to do nothing, but after the kids are in bed I do get a little bit. It is nice and relaxing. My husband only complains about it because of how late I stay up because of it. He says I don't get enough sleep and am cranky the next day.

I spend lots of time by myself since I live alone. I can easily not see anyone from the time I go to be on Sunday evening until 5pm on Wednesday when I go to work. Then from bedtime Wednesday night until Friday morning. It doesn't bother me in the least.

I like time to myself. Rarely though would I be not engaged in activity. I find that lying down with a cup of coffee and a good novel a very way of relaxing & having time to myself.
