your question looks a little childish, not because of what it asks but because of the way it is written, whatever I may look like an assh*le too because of my loose english :P well the sky is basically the atmosphere, like some other said earlier is the gas layer that surronds the earth so it's not infinite really, but perhaps you're referring to the sky as to the whole space, this is actually a mistake but if it is this what you meant I think it is infinite as far as we humans know today but it hasn't been proved either, our actual theories seem to indicate that and that's all.

a friend told me that actually the space is considered not infinite but boundless like running in a circle, the circle is finite but it has no start or end

well i think that the sky is basically the layer of air between the ground and space.. so it's not really infinite right?? =S
