When I was pregnant with my two I had morning sickness and it helped me if I drank diet coke. The regular coke didn't work but diet coke was a life saver.

If your pregnant you should drink the caffeine free version, caffeine can cause irregular heart beats in the baby..

Congrats!!!!!! I found sipping coke or ginger ale really helped me. And ginger in itself it supposed to be helpful. If you have a motherhood maternity store or a Mimi's near you they have Preggie Pops and preggie pop drops, and those are amazing.

Congratulations!!! What worked for me during the horrible months of MS was making sure i was NEVER hungry and saltines were my best friend during that time. The other thing that helped me was eating ginger candy. They are not the best tasting things, but if eating saltines, or sipping soda or the preggo pops don't work, def. try the ginger candy. it's a great option.

Congrats! Listed below are some useful tips and natural remedies that may be helpful for nausea. If one remedy doesn't work, experiment with another: • Practise deep breathing, meditation, and yoga and try to take an hour's walk in the fresh air every day. • A protein-rich snack eaten half an hour before you go to bed in the evening will help to ensure that your blood sugar level doesn't fall too low during the night. • Try to remember to get up slowly out of bed and take your time in the morning. You may find a teaspoon of cider vinegar in a cup of warm water helpful first thing. • An infusion of grated ginger root may bring relief if drunk while you are feeling nauseous. • Increase the iron-rich foods in your diet, such as beef, sardines, eggs, dried fruit and green leafy vegetables. • If you have no appetite, take 10-20g of vitamin B6 as a daily supplement. • Try an audio-therapy CD. Similar to those developed for travel-sickness, CDs are now available to ease the symptoms of morning sickness. Frequencies and pulses, disguised by music, interrupt signals from your brain to your gut telling your body to be sick. • Aromatherapy. Use essential oils of lavender, chamomile, and rose (either singly or combined) mixed with a base oil, as a massage oil. You can also put a drop or two of one of these on a tissue and carry it with you. Hope this helps:)

Congratulations. What helped me during the morning sickness was lemon tea with lemon juice, minty candy and bananas and peaches. Mint is calming when you feel sick.

I usually kept some saltines on my night stand and would nibble on a couple before I even got out of bed. If I still got sick at least there was something in my belly...Nothing worst than the ..dry heevs.. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Now go out and get a jar of Eucerin lotion rub it on your belly daily to help prevent stretch marks, I used it every morning after my shower with both my pregnancies and I don't have ANY stretch marks...It's kinda greasy, but oh so worth it..

Congratulations on the baby! This might sound a little out there but when I was pregnant with our first one the only way to beat the morning sickness was to make myself throw up first thing in the morning and then I was fine for the rest of the day. If I let it happen by itself then I was incompacitated all day long. I also let my Dr. know what I was doing and he said that as long as I was doing it before I took my vitamin and then ate throughout the day and quit after the morning sickness went away then he was fine with it.

Congratulations :) I cant give you any advise for the morning sickness coz i didn't have any but as for stretch marks - try 'cocoa butter' - there's brand here in Australia coalled Palmers & it's supposed to do wonders! I try a few things but i ended up looking like i was having 9lb twins so my belly got really big & nothing stopped the stretch marks. Also, make sure you have antacids on hand later which will stop heart burn & you'll be fine :) Good Luck :)

I am a nursing student. I advise that you eat SMALL BUT FREQUENT MEALS. You avoid greasy(oily)foods, irritants like spicy foods or anything that you do not like. Encourage your husband to prepare foods that you like and present it to you as attractive as it can be. Stay in a place where you cax relax and smell fresh air. Morning sickness or what we call hyperemesis gravidarum in medicine is normal in the 1st trimester of pregnancy because of your hormones. You can manage it non-pharmacologically when you follow my advises. But if you're really vomiting so profusely, then you might tell your OB doctor to prescribe an anti-emetic for you because chronic vomiting may lead to loss of electrolytes in your body that is so bad to you and your baby.
