If you could travel through time would you pick past or future?

I would prefer to go back to when I was a child. I would like to change the way I was raised. I was beat physically and abused emotionally & mentally by my father. I would try to change things I did to make him react as such. Or at least change the way I reacted to this. I thank you for this discussion also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM HGRANDPA BOB !!~

I would go to the future see what I have become and see if I can make any changes to make my future better If i want to go back i just close my eyes

I think I would like to see the future, not too far into the future, maybe the next 20 years - would like to see where our family is at that stage and how we are doing, coping etc. Would also like to see how my son turns out too!

Hi!i'd rather pick the past!Why?To undo and make up for all my mistakes!But i wish we can bring back the past!Anyway is not to late...there is always hope to those who are alive.Agree?

For me i would like to go into just the near future. I do have a motive though. Things are a little rocky for me and my children financially and a new love for me in the pic and a father figure for the children. I just would like to be able to see if the financial burden would be lifted anytime soon and would like to get a sneak peak of what life will be like with my new love in the near future it is great now but i just like to get a look. I know the future is better let unsaid like that but i know i cant time travel but if i could i know i could not resist.

I would choose the past , not my past but 100 of years back i am out of words to describe my love for the roman and greek time of reign, the time of rise of sparta ,and alexander , wow those were some days . I didnt choose future because most probably it wont be very nice a future as we are destroying our present so much.

Difficult to answer, maybe I would go back to some time when the latest parts of the Bible was written and meet the first Christians and see how they lived. But for me personally, I would like to go back to my early childhood, which in itself was very happy most of the time but if it would be possible to change some mistakes, it would be great. Well, better look at the future, there is so much we can do to create it now. Our choices today will affect what our future will be.

I'd never actually like to go forward or backward at all, i just want to stay where i am. Maybe i would watch parts of my future, or past, past to find things i've lost, and future to make sure it goes as planned, but otherwise, i just want to stay where i am. I would never jeopardize my life, and with time travel, though at the moment it's not possible, there will always be complications.

I think I would like to go back in the pastbecause to me the future looks kind of bleek and I dont think I would want any part of it. In the past I would have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Maybe change a few things that went wrong with my childhood or meet some of the people in history. I'm think about the sixties or seventies. Take care!!

PAST!! i am a huge history fanatic and love everything about history...i would visit the 1500, the 1800 and different events such as the day after the titanic sunk, stuff like that!

I'd like to see tomorrow. A day after today then go back again. I don't felt like undoing my past. Perhaps everybody has a thing in the past to change. I'll just face the future.
