We looked in a shop the other day out of curiosity called exotic pets. They were selling spiders, chameleons, snakes etc. They actually had a teranchula (no idea how to spell it) looking spider for sale for R1500. approx $230. I was astounded. Would you pay this for a spider. Ooh, I have creepy crawlies.

My husband and I have raised exotic animals for years. Currently, we raise alpacas. I am willing to pay a good price for an animal if it is worth it or is a quality animal. I am not into spiders, so I would not in that case, but if I wanted it and had the money, I definitely would pay for it. If you'd like to read an article my daughter wrote about alpacas, here is the link.

I read your daughters article. It is a very interesting article. They sound nice animals and I see that they live a long time too. You and your husband have a very nice career. It sounds like the life. Take care!
