Which regime is better? Marcos or Arroyo regime?

Accordingly, Marcos is still the best. People did not just understand and they ousted him and what happened. The country did not move on. Only those few who have taken advantage of the situation got what they wanted. Poor Philippines.

Definitely the Marcos regime. Life was safer, simpler. The economy was better. Corruption was not that rampant. Politician still had sense of honor during the Marcos era unlike now.

I was 8 when Martial Law was declared. I remember when there was curfew and people had to be home at a certain time or stay wherever they are. I remember when my aunt got stuck in traffic because of the rally at Plaza Miranda and we worried whether she would get home or not. On the other hand, I also remember the good roads leading north to our province and there were no potholes. I remember that I was proud to be part of the public school system where I learned many things that nowadays can only be learned in a private school. I remember that even when the politicians were also corrupt back then, Marcos taught them to give a little back to the people they were taking from. My mother was a nurse in our hometown and I remember that the medicines that was allotted for the people really reached the people. I remember the Kadiwa stores that sells produce and grocery at a lower price than other stores.

MARCOS REGIME. NO COMPARISON AT ALL. . GMA NO HEART, CORRUPT, LIAR. Marcos intelligent and with a good heart.

No beat the regime of Marcos. Pres. Marcos, has created many good things than Pres. Arroyo. Marcos has good vision to the country. He improves economy in the philippines, while Gloria, promise to improves the country. I like Marcos visions and his regime than Arroyo that is corrupt visions..

Marcos pa rin! The Filipinos just did not understand. Marcos loved the Philippines and he was sincere. For 20 years, he got out of the country only 6 times. He developed that Filipino identity and really we were proud then being a Filipino. When Cory became President by accident, Filipina means maid and the worse. Filipinos abroad are tagged as thieves. It became worse when GMA grabbed the Presidency from Erap. Then she did not clearly win in the Presidential elections. Just imagine the person occupying the highest post in the land is a cheater? What face can the Filipino show to the world?

I go for marcos. it was relatively economically sound. though politically he was a mass murderer. But PGMA is worst. A liar, murderer and hypocrit.

It is said that, the greatest dictator of this country had fell from his position because he is being dictated by his own wife. I think Philippines is one of the countries being looked up to now if Marcos had only continued his leadership.

I'll go to Marcos. I have read on my friends thesis that Philippines before was as competitive as big countries. Peso was as close to dollars. There was peace and ordinance in the country.
